Nightshade Farm is nestled on 41 acres in the Upper Hudson Valley (Albany County, New York). Phil and Kris purchased the farm in 2007 and Nightshade Farm came to fruition in 2015 as a Certified Organic Vegetable Farm. In early 2018 the farm was granted licensure by New York State Ag & Markets as a research partner to cultivate and process/extract hemp. In 2019 the farm pivoted solely to the cultivation of hemp and CBD production. Fast-forwarding to April 2022, the farm was licensed by New York State Office of Cannabis Management as an Adult-Use Conditional Cultivator and that August as an Adult-Use Conditional Processor (extraction and manufacturing). In 2024 Nightshade Farm was granted non-conditional licensure for Adult-Use Processing (extraction & manufacturing), Adult-Use Cultivation ( Outdoor Tier 4 50,000 ft²) and Adult-Use Distribution.

In 2020 Nightshade Farm built an audited cGMP 21 CFR part 111 Dietary Supplement Manufacturing Facility. This facility is now licensed to extract and manufacture Adult-Use Cannabis.

Nightshade Farm cultivates high THC cannabis both outdoors and in climate controlled greenhouses which supplies the farm with a wide array of cultivars which are utilized for smokable flower and potent extraction material.
